Thanks to cooperation with the University of Agriculture in Krakow, the coordinator of the educational project “Young – modern – aware. Knowledge bears fruit!”, Monika Kawczyńska, had the honor to participate in a solemn conference as part of the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the University of Agriculture, which took place on July 6, 2023 in Krakow. The event was held under the honorary patronage of the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda.

JM dr hab. Eng. Sylwester Tabor, prof. URK, inaugurated the ceremony with a speech on the challenges facing science in the face of current problems such as climate change and global food shortages.

During the conference in front of the building of the Faculty of Forestry, the guests could visit EXPO – an exhibition of the latest inventions and technologies developed by the research teams of the University.

On the next day, on July 7, 2023, a solemn conference was held at the URK Congress Center entitled “Innovative technologies in agriculture” as part of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Faculty of Agriculture and Economics of the Agricultural University of H. Kołłątaj in Krakow.

About 250 people attended the conference. During the poster session that accompanied the event, we could exchange interesting observations, not only related to seed production, but also to the development of technology.
