We are pleased to announce that after 22 years as CEO of Agencja Nasienna Sp. z o.o., Mr. Paweł Kochański has decided to retire. His work and commitment were crucial not only to the development of our Agency, but above all to promoting the protection of Breeders’ IP rights and the benefits of variety development.

We are also pleased to announce that on January 1, 2026, Mr. Michał Rokicki, PhD in Engineering in agricultural sciences in agronomy and former director of Instytut Hodowli i Aklimatyzacji Roślin – Państwowy Instytut Badawczy (the Institute of Plant Breeding and Acclimatization – National Research Institute) in Radzików, assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer of Agencja Nasienna Sp. z o.o. Mr. Michał Rokicki has extensive experience in the breeding industry: from 2011 to 2021, as Breeding Director and Chief Breeder at Poznańska Hodowla Roślin Sp. z o.o., he was involved in developing new varieties of cereals – wheat and barley – field peas, and narrow-leaved and yellow lupins. The new CEO of our Agency is also active in Polska Izba Nasienna (Polish Seed Trade Association), where he serves as chairman of the Plant Breeders’ Committee.

We wish Mr. Michał Rokicki fruitful work and success in promoting and implementing Breeders’ exclusive right to plant varieties.
